Now, it's seems like literature is now gaining more feet in Nigeria. The art of poetry or poems writing is now a cause of study in the industry of writing. Not quite long we heard of a student from University of ilorin from department of history and international studies who went a long way to show the world what he had gotten in the world of poetry with his poem titled 'faceless'. NEW DECADE,NEW NIGERIA

Be Hale my fellow compatriot

Hope firm, shun dejection

The plaque of weathering is present

Ready to diffuse the mountain of poverty

The menace of destitution no longer effective

Change is near, change is here.

The sky is heavily bent

Loaded with Waters of nemesis

It will someday with anger rain vengeance

On our oppressors's spirit, soul and body

Orderliness will operate all seasons

The best humanity we will reason

Blissfully welcome the era of transformation

It brings for us the antidote of corruption

Say a loud adieu to our funny democracy

Here comes the epoch of abundancy

The son of a layman will be a great man

Without curving hands

All figure of terror will vanished

Our defense-security will be polished

We can percieve the aroma of progress

Our judicial system will wear a laudable dress

Immorality now will see no space 

education shall run on a relevant pace

All hail Nigeria, the gaint of Africa

God bless the federal republic of NIGERIA.
